The AAHA/AAFP framework places cats over ten years old in the senior stage. The label does not diagnose a problem or explain every change.
Observe daily access and habits
Note whether your cat uses the same resting places, reaches resources in the same way and follows familiar routines. The daily-routine guide provides a way to organize those observations for discussion.
